Is equipment close? Yes, because of the fact that this building is going up on a busy campus there is not a lot of extra space so equipment, along with everything else, is very close   to the building.

Are there idle workers? None that I can see. However if I were an idol worker I wouldn’t stand out in the open.
Construction Activities: Because of the rain there is no siding or outside work going on. From what I can see from the fence it looks like some drywall and insulation being installed and there is some welding going on. I also see a van used to transport glass on site so windows might be being installed.
Does safety seem to be of importance? Yes, the only ladders I see are tied off, there is colorful fencing that shows where pedestrians and workers are safe to walk, and all equipment that aren't being used are lowered all the way to the ground. Also, all the workers are wearing the correct work attire.

Hazard Analysis:

Activity Hazard Solution
Welding Damage eyes or get burnt Wear welding glasses and clothes
that cover the skin and leather
gloves
Comments/Remarks: Rain seems to have stopped all outside work however since the last time I visited this site more precast siding has gone up and more work has been done with the hokie stone on the side
of the building.
